Booties picture for cjoy
I'm sure not everyone is interested in seeing my latest baby booties knitting pattern, but I do know one person - cjoy at Penny for My Thoughts. You can check out her cute crocheted one at her blog. Here is mine (with no ribbon yet but it will go in the eyelet row once I buy some at Hobby Lobby). It's knit with Bunny Hop yarn from Crystal Palace Yarns.

Wow! Those are awesome! It shows that you have a higher skill level in knitting than I do in crocheting. :)
I made a preemie set for my sister in law this weekend that called for ties made from a crocheted foundation chain. It grips itself due to the texture and doesn't come untied so easily.
I think I'd prefer a pattern with no ribbon because it'd be easy for a mom to loose the ribbon - or at least it's be easy for this mom to loose the ribbon. I think I will revise the pattern somewhat to make the boot not quite so tall. I guess what I need is a real live baby model. :)
