I mentioned on Facebook a few weeks ago that I like this
quilt but was unqualified to make it. To my utter surprise, my friend Ruth presented it to me this evening for my Christmas gift. I am so grateful for her hard work and her sweet gift. It just might be the sweetest gift I've ever received. Here are two photos of her handiwork.

Hi Laurel, I just noticed that i made a mistake on the quilt. Sorry about it! The second tree on the second row of the quilt, the tree trunk fabric is different from the others. I forgot to check on that before i put on!! I hope you don't mind it at all.
I would never have known. It looks great! I picked a spot in the living room to hang it - I'll show you on christmas.
